Polychop Simulations OH-58D Kiowa Warrior for DCS

In a Facebook post, the company talked about the difficulties they found. Unfortunately, their coder had some very serious health problems and had to be replaced by 2 new team members, who had to get up to speed with the project and split it logically so they could both advance with the project.

Polychop states that “this year has not been the year of the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior release”, which is obvious, but the team is “thrilled to finally see a light at the end of the tunnel”, which they say is approaching fast.

The post also mentions new features that were added meanwhile, “which include but are not limited to Level 2 Manned-Unmanned System (L2MUMS), an overhauled Control Display Subsystem, Optical Display Assembly, Pilot Display Unit and the Improved Data Modem”. Pretty exciting.

Also exciting is the fact that Polychop confirmed the Kiowa Warrior was sent to Eagle Dynamics and passed the flight model tests!

Polychop says that they are confident that they will finally be able to “break the radio silence surrounding the development of the OH-58D Kiowa Module” and let us know more.
