The Kiowa Warrior is another one of the helicopters that will transition to X-Plane 12. But the update is going to be far more than just making use of X-Plane 12’s new and improved features.
The control set is already available in either separate units or a stand-alone solution.
The new version is out, and it brings a lot of new features, such as weapons and a very complete manual.
The team reinforces the fact that they are releasing the Kiowa as a final product, not Early Access and state that health issues with one of the developers caused the whole project to be delayed.
After suffering from the short supply issues that have been plaguing a lot of companies around the world, Komodo is finally being able to ship the new product.
X-Plane is not usually a platform where we will find a ton of military helicopters (there are, obviously, better sims out there for it) but, now and then, we get some cool stuff. Like the Kiowa!
