The scenery covers the eastern part of the Society Islands in the South Pacific and offers a major international airport, 2 regional airports, and 3 “challenging heliports”, which we already talked about a couple of weeks ago or so. Maps2XPlane directly hints at virtual helicopter pilots, not only by adding the heliports but also by encouraging us to “service the hospitals on Moorea and Tahiti” as “a medical air pilot”.
The package “features a custom terrain mesh with photo-realistic textures, dense vegetation, and country-typical autogen, as well as custom road-networks and sea-routes with dynamic traffic” and it promises to be quite an exciting – and detailed – area for X-Plane helicopter pilots to work for a few seasons. Or just to do some sightseeing!
