Bell 412 for FlightGear entered production release stage

The freeware 412 for the (also freeware) sim FlightGear has now entered the matured or "production" stage of its life-cycle and it's available for download.

The 412 has undergone some massive work and it's now one of the most complete helicopters for FlightGear. Here's the full changelog:

This is a the first release of an all new stand along Bell 412. previously it was  included in the "Huey" package (and the old version still is). It is a very different  release from the previous one.


Rembrandt ready.

ALS Fuselage and Glass rain and reflection effects. Fuselage reflection is livery dependant.

All new cockpit main panel, centre console and overhead panel.

All new FDM - includes stiction patch  for future FlightGear 2019+ versions.

11  new liveries included, specific to this 412.

5 mission configuration options.

Functional winchman.

ALS Rotor wash on Grass effect.

Multiplayer viewable rotor   dust effect.

Multiplayer sound.

Multiplayer passengers possible.
