HeliSimmer.com 4th anniversary

And what a ride this has been! The amount of friends we have been making throughout the years is impressive and it's a lot of why this is worth it.

For the last 4 years we have been working hard (as hard as we could while taking a lot of our personal time) to bring you all the news, reviews and everything else regarding helicopter flight simulation.

We have developed and published the website, created our obvious social presence on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram, as well has developed a wonderful community in our Facebook group which now counts with over 6,400 members!

During the last year we released a weekly video section on your YouTube Channel. Weekly FlyBy seems to be appreciated by the community as an easy way for them to be in touch with what's going on so one of our goals is to keep producing it.

We also commemorated our 4th anniversary a bit in advance and released our forums a few days ago which, hopefully, will act as a hub for the community. In these forums you will find a space to share with your fellow virtual helicopter pilots but you will also find companies and development teams providing support and having their own channel of communication with all of you.

HeliSimmer.com has been growing steady. The community already knows us and developers see us as a friend and partner in this amazing ecosystem that makes our hobby what it is.

If everything goes well, we'll be seeing a few more new features on the website throughout the year. There's a project that's been on the back-burner for... Well, 4 years now, to be honest. It's something a bit more complex that requires a lot more coding and, as such, it ends up being postponed. I say this every year but, perhaps this is the year we'll manage to push it out.

A lot has happened for us the last 4 years and, thankfully, this has made our community be more open, recognized and acknowledged by the community itself and, especially by developers that now see us as a market -- and a very demanding one!

Thank you very, very much. All of you. And thank you especially to the folks that have been actively helping me by writing content, helping me with ideas and overall support. I talk to most of you almost everyday and you guys are a lot of why I can do this for the community. Thank you.

Here's to another year filled with flight simulation, helicopters and what makes this all worth it: the community.

I hope I can count on all of you on another year of this fantastic journey.

Take care. Fly safe!
