Global AI Traffic: US Navy for FSX and P3D

One of the most fun things to do with helicopters (isn't it ALL fun anyway???) is to land on the moving deck of a ship. The good folks at Haze Gray Studios know that and bring us over 250(!!!) of them for us to play with. That's right! Over two hundred and fifty. Yikes!

The idea behind this project is to pretty much bring all of the USN ships to FSX and P3D. But not just the ships. They are adding routes so you'll probably find a USN vessel pretty much everywhere in the globe.

The documentation will come with some spreadsheets, user guides as well as Google Earth maps (these folks are thorough).

The team is comprised of some elements that have extensive background in development for both FSX and P3D (we will not disclose any names for now). There are 9 devs working on this pack which is in the final stages of development.

There is still a lot of work to do as the team's working on missions (developed by a retired senior naval officer), saved flights (using the default aircraft with some custom/payware aircraft coming in the future) and more. Missions will be released for FSX only, though, but the team admits to take a better look at P3D in the future.

So if you're up for some hoping around the WHOLE US Navy Fleet, keep an eye on this project. We will keep you updated as we get some more information.

The team also promises to keep on working on new features in the future so this won't become a stagnant product. We can't wait to see what they will come up with.

A release date was not provided yet.
