Video: a comparison between a real autorotation and an X-Plane autorotation

So, how "real" are sims when compared to real life flying? It depends on how you use them. But if you do things "by the book", you might be surprised.

Our reader and friend, Joshua Hamby, did a nice video comparing a real autorotation in a R-22 and an auto performed in its virtual counterpart, using X-Plane.

Of course, it all depends on how "realistically" you perform the maneuvers but it's awesome to realize that if we do things the right way, X-Plane behaves quite right.
