X-CPL Pilot now offers a free demo

The payware plugin, for X-Plane, has a very nice little free demo for you to try it. And get possibly hooked to it!

X-CPL-Pilot is one of the addons that, despite me being a defender that there are no “must-have” addons, I highly recommend everyone gets. It’s simple, it’s fun and it will provide you with hours of great entertainment in X-Plane if you ever get bored of just flying around with no goals.

The author decided to release a demo version that you can use for free. Granted, there are some limitations (obviously) but it should be more than enough for you to give it a try and understand how much of a difference it can make in your simming.

And, trust me, it will make quite a difference. It did for me. Here's my review on it.

Here are the limitations of the demo. You can find the button to download it at the end of this article.

  • Custom jobs are not enabled in the demo version.
  • You can only use one FBO.
  • You can only add one location and one scene in the Scene-Editor.
  • You can only use aircraft with a max-weight of 2 tons.
  • You are limited to 10 flight hours.
  • You can’t buy aircraft.
