VIRPIL Controls to develop helicopter control panel

The hardware manufacturer is asking the community to assist in the creation of a new line of control panels and one of the categories is precisely helicopters.

In a huge nudge towards the helicopter flight simulation community, VIRPIL Controls announced, earlier today, on their Facebook page, a competition “where members of the community can submit design proposals for control panels in these categories. Every participant can send in an unlimited number of entries for any category.”.

These categories are Jet Aircraft, Piston Aircraft, Spacecraft and, yes, Helicopters.

Their post on Facebook explains everything but you may need to worry as the competition started today.

It’s very good to see a great hardware manufacturer such as VIRPIL acknowledging our community and considering developing a product for us.
