Taog’s Hangar is working on a new project for Microsoft Flight Simulator—and this time, they’re starting with MSFS 2024. It’s a great opportunity to explore the 2024 SDK and get their feet wet.
The new project will bring 2 models to the sim: the OH6A and the H500C. Both models will have their own exterior and interior models. Through the new MSFS 2024 modular simobject system, Taog’s Hangar can customize a lot of the components and make each variant unique.
This release will be only for MSFS 2024 for now. Taog’s Hangar says they are “leveraging a lot of the new features coming from the 2024 SDK. For example walkaround functions and deeper CFD calculations”.
There’s no estimated release date yet, but it’s shaping up to be a welcome addition to the growing MSFS 2024 helicopter fleet.
