SimControlX is now available

Azure Computing has just released the latest version of their software for iPad that allows you to control your flights in P3D remotely (like an instructor station). X-Plane coming soon.

Here's the full press-release:

ORLANDO, FL. — June 4, 2018 - SimControlX is the successor to SimControl, a powerful iPad instructor station app for your simulator which provides users the ability to reposition aircraft instantly, change weather conditions, fail system components, instruments and much more. SimControlX helps facilitate realistic training or an enhanced gaming experience, all without needing to get out of the captain’s chair or pausing the simulation.

Perfect for instructors and sim operators using systems for pilot training, as well as simulation enthusiasts, SimControlX makes flight simulation programs easier than ever to use. A user-friendly iPad interface, world-wide map database, and seamless connection to your flight sim program, this app is a game changing simulator operators station. No longer will sim users need to interrupt their flight to move to a new airport, change the weather, engage failures, or other functions even including changing the aircraft or paint scheme. This also means for pilots flying in enclosed simulators that they can change all of these variables without getting out of the cockpit, simplifying and expediting their training sessions.

SimControlX is currently compatible with Prepar3D® v3.4 and v4.0+ with plans to support X-Plane support by summer 2018. Visit the Apple App Store or to start flying today!
