“In 2016, a school class of Israeli children is on a fieldtrip to Jerusalem. On their way home their bus is stopped by a group of armed fighters and abducted to the West Bank.
Authorities are quickly informed and a ground based rescue team as well as an Apache helicopter (“Splitter”) are scrambled for a rescue operation.”
That’s the premise for Carsten’s latest (free) mission. Operation Horizon - Rescue mission in the West Bank takes place in the most recent DCS map, Sinai and that you can play by yourself or by sharing the Apache with a friend.
There are a few very nice new features that Carsten has thrown into this mission such as the way the mission is presented – through a 17-page comic – and a intro that is presented if you start from cold and dark. Pretty cool.
You can download this mission at the official file library.
