You should not expect an high-polished, high-quality graphics video. Octagon has decided to show is the initial stages of the development of their sim and, as such, we are to expect things not working or looking as they should and will at the end.
The team's planning on releasing a VR, non-controllable tech-demo for both the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive during the next couple of weeks. Right now, they are still working on the physics of the helicopter and pursuing solutions for high quality scenery.
