Octagon development video: flying around

Feb 25, 2019 | by Sérgio Costa

Octagon is still working hard on their crew simulator and, as they do, they sometimes release little bits of information, screenshots and videos just like this one.

The goal of the team is to provide an affordable crew simulator that can be used in VR, and the sim shall be released in two versions: a professional and a hobbyist versions.

Right now, the team is working on the flight dynamics with all the main controls already working and some more complex physics being worked on.

While not describing exactly all the features that the sim will come up with, considering it's a product aimed at the professional market, it should provide for a very realistic experience. There's no date of release yet and the team is not interested in rushing the project either, so we are still a bit away from managing to get our hands on this new product.

As usual, you can find out more about the project by following them on their Facebook page.
