Nimbus Simulation shows a bit of their progress on the UH-1H Huey for X-Plane

If you are an X-Plane rotorhead, you must be certainly waiting for a UH-1 for some time. Nimbus Simulation has been working on one for some time and they just sent us a couple of nice screenshots and a surprise: it's going to be the UH-1H after all!

Back in September, we have mentioned Nimbus was working on the UH-1D model (as per their indication). After listening to the community, they have decided to go with the UH-1H version instead.

Nimbus is planning on allowing us to configure the Huey by allowing us to add/remove doors, guns, pilot and the copilot. Some other options might be added as well but the team's not ready to mention anything else at the moment.

About the date of release: there's none yet. The team's hard at work but they are not saying when this is coming. Whenever it is, we're sure there's a line out there already to get it as soon as it's released.

The couple of screenshots they have sent us shows their work with the textures and PBR. It's starting to look pretty nice. Enjoy!
