New team shows WIP Bell 222UT for X-Plane

Cowan Simulation is working on this streamlined classic that will certainly be a delight for a lot of X-Plane pilots. But a Microsoft Flight Simulator version is also planned.

The project has been under production for 3 months now and, Joshua Cowan, the designer has been putting “up to 16 hour days” working on it.

The goal is to release it as an “affordable payware” when it’s done. Joshus is not providing a release date as it will only be out when he is satisfied with the end result, although he is committing himself to keep on updating it as he sees fit (perhaps in the same lines of how VSKYLABS has been doing with their models – which is absolutely incredible).

Cowan Simulation also indicates the helicopter will be ported to the new Microsoft Flight Simulation “when the time comes”.

Joshua himself has shared 30 screenshots of the project (some of which you can see here) so far in our Facebook group and our forums.

His passion with helicopters developed during MSFS 2000 when he discovered the complexity of these aircraft and the challenge it was to control them. Since then he has been primarily a helicopter flight simmer, trying his best not to crash and kill all his virtual passengers.
