Nicki Repenning is going full steam ahead on his new venture: Meridian GMT, a new hardware company that is set to “elevating the flight simulation experience”.
After having met Nicki a couple of times and exchanged some emails with him, I can surely say the passion is there and the quality of the hardware he built previously has always been fantastic. I am obviously curious about the new brand.
I am even more curious to see if the new hardware will be easily adaptable for helicopters or if there will be any helicopter hardware at all. My conversations with Nicki when he was still part of the previous company seemed promising and I was very excited so perhaps, and hopefully, we can see something cool in the future.
Meridian GMT will be unveiling their first products at FSWeekend so, if you are around, make sure to check it out.

San Diego, California, March 12th, 2025 - Meridian GMT, a new brand dedicated to elevating the flight simulation experience, is thrilled to announce its official launch. Founded by Nicki Repenning and backed by one of the largest engineering houses and manufacturing facilities in the gaming industry, Meridian GMT is set to deliver an ambitious product roadmap that will make a significant impact on the market.
The first products from Meridian GMT will be revealed during a special presentation by Nicki Repenning, live at FS Weekend in Aviodrome, Lelystad, Holland and on livestream on March 16th, 2025. The debut lineup will feature a blend of cutting-edge technology and innovative features, combined with high-quality, precision engineering, aimed at moving flight sim hardware a generation forward.
"Meridian GMT is more than just a brand; it's a commitment to the flight simulation community," said Nicki. "Our core values: innovation, precision, durability, and affordability are at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to deliver hardware that not only exceeds the expectations of the community but also makes products for the casual flight simmer, embarking on their first solo flight, and bring immersion and fun to their experience too."
The Meridian GMT logo, featuring three diamonds symbolizing Community, Industry Partnerships, and Innovation, set against a golden hexagon representing Legacy, embodies the brand's core principles. The inverted Y reflects its roots in flight simulation and, together with the spacing between the diamonds, creates a subtle negative space in the shape of an aircraft, a deliberate design choice to associate the logo with aviation and the flight sim community.
