Navigraph received over 23,000 responses and used 14,489 fully completed surveys to give us a new x-ray of our community.
I won’t go through the whole survey as you can check out all the data yourself, but I would like to pinpoint some highlights:
- The vast majority use a Windows PC.
- We have a slight increase in simmers that use helicopter controls (3.3% vs 3.1%). 2.7% plan on buying these kinds of controls.
- MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 are the most used sims. MSFS 2020 is used by over half the respondents (52%) while MSFS 2024 is used by a quarter (24.9%). This gives us a total of 76.9%, a ~6% increase when compared with the previous survey.
- 20.5% of simmers use helicopters. In their report, Navigraph says there was a bit of a decrease but, during the previous survey, 19.9% of simmers used helicopters, so there is actually a slight increase. About 1/5 of simmers fly helicopters!
