While MSFS2020 did not have VR when it was launched, Microsoft and Asobo quickly (as quickly as possible, though) turned the tide and made Virtual Reality a first-class feature of Microsoft Flight Simulator. Since then, it has been present in the sim, being one of the core features for the new version, which will come out on November 19th, 2024.
Pimax and Microsoft have now announced a partnership, with Pimax being an official peripheral partner for MSFS2024.
I reached out to Pimax to try and understand how is that this agreement benefits the community. One of the things I was told was that Pimax had supplied “several headsets to help with (beta) testing and optimizing the game”. I was also directed to the promotion Pimax is having where you can purchase the Crystal Light with a US$10 discount. Hopefully (and I am speculating here) we may eventually see good promotions and price drops coming our way.
