In the first video, Low Level Heaven (LLH) took us through the immersion level the team is pursuing to provide us with a great experience. Now it’s time to look at everything we’ll need to do inside a single mission.
LLH’s video show us mission 5 which is a Close Air Support assignment for a supply convoy. The goal is to provide top-down support to the guys on the ground
Next to a transport task, the main job in mission 5 is CAS (close air support) for one of our supply convoys. Therefore, we accompany the convoy with an AI college and take care of him, so he reaches his destination.
As a secondary task, you may secure the perimeter in front of and around the convoy by looking closely at parked vehicles and structures like tank wreaks or others along the convoy's path.
This means you will need to advance and do some low passes on both sides of the road. These secondary tasks are not crucial for mission success, but you will only get a 100% score when all sides are checked, while at the same time, your primary task of CAS for the convoy is fulfilled.
You will be getting your hands full. Like LLH puts it, “these secondary tasks put you under pressure, and you need fundamental helicopter skills to complete both simultaneously”.
Oh ,and according to the team, “this may open the way for another task level, depending on the randomly composed mission structure”.
