The company continues to plan and develop new products for the helicopter flight simulation community, although mostly aimed at the professional market.
Komodo Simulations was kind enough to send us a couple of images of the design they are working on. Although being developed with professionals in mind, it will be generally available, although, if you already own a base unit (Komodo products are interchangeable so you can use the same base for different cyclics or collectives), you may need a new one.
According to Komodo, customers “will need an upgraded base unit as it will use electromagnets for the throttle release to close”. This allows Komodo to replicate all the features of the real helicopter.
