Destroyer121 UH-60 for Microsoft Flight Simulator

The project is called Native-H60 Project and it aims to bring the UH-60 to MSFS. Destroyer121 is taking advantage of the offer Fred Naar made to the community and he is using AirlandFS to help make the helicopter a reality.

In fact, the H-60 project came out only a few days after the release of AirlandFS, which clearly indicates that it was a huge help.

The 3D model is quite interesting and, in MSFS, it tends to look even better. Nonetheless, Destroyer121 does have some limitations in regards with what he can do. So, he is trying to get help from the community.

Not being a programmer, it makes things quite complicated as developing custom gauges is a big issue. You can see that clearly in the cockpit. The 3D model is that of a modernized civilian UH-60 but the actual gauges were taken from the 787 Dreamliner. So… They work. But it’s not the same as having a replica of the actual cockpit and panels of a Black Hawk, right?

And this is where you might be of assistance. If you are a coder or someone that knows how to develop custom gauges and systems for the sim, Destroyer121 could need your help – and the community as well. By having more members in the team willing to help, this model can go beyond something that only looks like a Black Hawk from the outside to something that can behave like one and become an amazing project.

Right now, this is still a very crude and simple project (it's still WIP, of course). You can clearly see there are a lot of hours put into the project and Destroyer121 is putting all the love and time he can, but he needs help to evolve this project.

So, if you have the know-how and can spare some hours to make this project a reality for the community, this is your chance to help out! The 3D model is being worked on, it already flies and there is clearly a lot of work ahead. But it’s perfectly feasible, especially with a good, dedicated team of like-minded individuals willing to bring this gem into Microsoft Flight Simulator.
