EXCLUSIVE: Heatblur's next DCS project is a helicopter

Apr 01, 2019 | by Sérgio Costa

Following the remarkable success of their F-14, the developer is already working on a new project. And it has a rotor on it!

Heatblur is not a team to stand still for a long time and even if the F-14 is undergoing some work, resources are being directed to his new project.

Exclusive quotes

According to Nicholas Dackard, CEO of Heatblur, the new project is “a huge step forward”. When asked if they were already considering this new project as they were developing the F-14, he added “Not really but we HAD to do it after we have seen how happy Bel Geode was about our module. We know he’s a huge fan of rotor aircraft as well – and especially tiltrotors. We decided to embark on this project to cater such an amazing Tomcat lover. This one’s for you, Drew”.

There you go: some love to our community, in this case represented by our dearest friend and Tomcat aficionado, Bel Geode. (Purple) hats off to you, sir.

The team was kind enough to send us a screenshot of the work they are developing on the model. Please remember: this is a work in progress. And quite a remarkable one, indeed.

What do you think? Are you as excited as we are about this new, amazing, project? Let us know in the comments section below!
