Some time ago, a community member reached out to me and mentioned his interest in developing an H155 for Microsoft Flight Simulator. Back then, he was thinking about what path to pursue.
Well, he just contacted me again and his decision is made: he wants to create a group of focused creators, willing to serve the community with the development of high-quality, free “larger helicopters” for sims, with MSFS being the main target.
The team is still only comprised of himself, but he is reaching out to the community with an H155 model already and looking for help in the following areas:
- Blender modeling and animation
- Sound design
- Expertise with the SDK
If you can help in these (or other areas that you find may be relevant – including offering your help on the development of systems, etc), you can reach out to the team on Discord or contact me and I’ll help you get in touch.
This can be the start of an interesting project that will help the entire rotorhead community.
