This is a bit of a call to arms.
Got Friends, a team comprised of Got Gravel, Jonx, Twoseventyinc, and Mykrode, is asking the community what the next step towards finishing their Mini-500 for MSFS should be.
The team, which is not really a rookie and has some nice aircraft for MSFS out there already, says the Mini-500 is “about 90% complete” with Digital MGL Avionics, TouchPad with Aera Navigation Support, and additional enchantment features, 4k textures, and custom sounds.
Sounds like a sweet package.
What’s next in line? Flight dynamics. And, for that, the team is asking us, literally, what is it that we think they should do.
Official Got Friends Poll:
— Got Friends (@friends_got) April 19, 2022
"This Poll WILL determine the final release schedule for our anticipated Revolution Mini-500 Helicopter."
Previews Below: ⬇️#msfs #helo #helicopter #revolution @MSFSofficial @HeliSimmer @rotorsimpilot @HYPEAircraft
Option 1 is the “soon” release via the use of AirlandFS. They didn’t tell us how soon but they say it’s “soon”.
Option 2 is the one where they wait for Microsoft to fully support helicopters and aim at a 2023 release.
You can vote on their poll tweet. And please do, since they are waiting for our feedback!
But wait! There’s more!
No, I’m not selling anything here but there IS more you can do for the team and this project. Do you own a Mini-500 or do you know someone that owns or knows the platform and can help develop the flight dynamics! You know what to do! Get in touch and I will pass your contact on to the team.
Let’s help these guys and get another helicopter in Microsoft Flight Simulator!
