Only a few days ago we announced that Karl Leclerc, the man behind the freeware OH-58D Kiowa Warrior for X-Plane 11, was working on a new version that would be made available for X-Plane 12.
By then, we knew that the helicopter was very close to release, as Karl has been working on it for some time while helping out Laminar Research.
We are happy to tell you that version 3.0 of the Kiowa Warrior is now out.
Just make sure you understand this is still a beta so it may have some issues but if you find them, it shouldn’t be that much of an issue.
Also, make sure you read the instructions as there are some settings that you’ll need to change to make sure everything goes smoothly – including assigning your throttle axis to the ‘Wing Sweep’ instruction.
Make sure you get the right file as well.
