Our hobby is a fantastic one. It’s one that unites people all over a passion that we all have: aviation. And, in our case, helicopters.
Pavel Korsun is one of our readers and he is currently in Kyiv, Ukraine and we all know things are bad over there right now.
The skies are off limits, so pilots are grounded. This left no other option to Pavel, which, thankfully, can still shield himself a bit from the harsh reality with the use of none other than X-Plane.
Pavel created a small scenery pack comprised of a few helipads and heliports around Kyiv and Chernobyl. They aren’t super detailed but “good enough to practice helicopter take-offs and landings”. He has also added a couple of fictional pads around Chernobyl as only the Chernobyl City Heliport exists there.
