One of the X-Plane helicopter pilots favorite helicopters has been updated once again. This time to meet X-Plane’s latest version and to fix a few issues.
There’s no doubt about it: when it comes to freeware stuff, we all love it. But when it comes to amazing freeware stuff, we obviously love it even more.
Thomas Woods’ Bell 429 has been one of the most loved helicopters for X-Plane and I don’t think I know of a single person that is passionate about helicopters which doesn’t have this model in their hangar.
She is truly a beauty with great quality and Tom Woods continues to update her.
This time, Tom made her fully compatible with X-Plane 11.50, fixed some issues and he has already made her available.
If you, for any wacky reason, haven’t heard about this helicopter, check out what Joe Hudson has to say about her. Oh and if you'd like to get your hands on the HeliSimmer livery shown here, here it is!
Meanwhile, here’s the official changelog:
- Update for XP11.50.
- Bell 412 plugin updated.- New rotor-brake, GPU fix, cable draw.
- Required to setup 412 plugin config for throttles, by default I have set two hardware throttles.
- Librain on hold.
- Only need to download new Bell 429 v3.0 zip, liveries and other files no change.
- Mod for WLG and RealityXP versions in progress.
