Frank Dainese and Fabio Bellini Alps UHD scenery for X-Plane 12

We’re talking about 8,000 square kilometers big. That’s over 3,000 square miles for our US friends.

Big?

Heck yeah.

The new product, Alps UHD, is already out for X-Plane 12 and it’s actually 4 packages in one:

  • Eiger Park
  • Matterhorn Park
  • Aosta
  • Mont Blanc and main peaks of the Alps

Frank and Fabio reconstructed almost everything with detailed 3D models and photographic textures. Major cities and towns were reproduced with thousands of custom buildings manually placed. You will be able to find churches, monuments, public buildings stations, and some houses which are very characteristic of the region.

Major airports and airfields were also added to the mega-package. You will be able to find some of these in tourist areas such as Cervinia, Gressoney, Courmayeur, and Chamonix.

You might remember seeing these 4 packages in X-Plane 11, but the team said they have added detail to the vast areas and combined all of them into a single package.
