Frank Dainese and Fabio Bellini announced 3D Alps scenery for X-Plane 12

Frank and Fabio’s upcoming scenery, which is already being tested in X-plane 12, includes the western Alps area.

The 3 packages that were released for X-Plane 11 – Matterhorn Park , Mont Blanc and Eiger Park – are being merged into a single mega-scenery.

This package not only brings the aforementioned products but more areas and airports were added for a total of over 8,000 square kilometers:

  • Interlaken
  • Thun
  • Meiringen
  • Reichenback
  • Megeve
  • Sallanches Mont Blanc
  • Meribel
  • Courchevel

The new scenery is being tested with X-Plane 12 beta, which means some features, such as night textures are missing.

Frank Dainese indicated he and Fabio “hope to be able to publish the scenario as soon as the final version is available or even sooner”.

Frank also told us a discount system for previous owners of the X-Plane 11 versions is being considered as well.
