FlyInside reached out with a roadmap that is packed with information, not only about the current models but also with information regarding the new ones.

Owners of FlyInside aircraft will continue to get these updates free of charge, so if that’s your case, there’s twice the reason to be excited about this update.

Let’s get right through it.

Bell 206 and Bell 47

These models currently work fine in both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 but the team’s working on “not only the updates for the 47 and 206, but have added a TON of features and realism/immersion tweaks not to mention way improved art including new geometry”. Among other things, this means that owners will get a more realistic center post in the 206, lots of cockpit geometry tweaks, and new texturing of plastics, carpet, and more for MSFS 2020.

The latest update for the Bell 206 is now available on both FlyInside’s website and the MSFS 2020 marketplace and it’s compatible with MSFS 2024 as well.

FlyInside says the Bell 47 will be updated next.

More Bell 206 and MSFS 2024 updates

FlyInside is not done with the 206 and they are planning on a big update, which will not only bring the 206A but also the OH58A models. This means “new engine/performance and LOTS of new art”.

The 206A/OH58A release will come out for MSFS 2020 but it will be MSFS 2024 compatible.

At this point, FlyInside will start working on native MSFS 2024 updates for all their aircraft, “adding better art (to take advantage of the new 2024 Art system) as well as a bunch of 2024-specific features”. FlyInside has not indicated which features these will be at this time so we will have to wait for a list in the future.

The Gazelle

Finally, the roadmap includes the Gazelle, in both its military and civilian versions. This will be a MSFS 2020/2024 release with a proper, native 2024 version coming out next year. There is no more information right now but FlyInside promises to show something soon.

MSFS Marketplace

Regarding the MSFS 2024 Marketplace, just like everyone else, FlyInside is unaware of when it will be made available, so they can’t plan on any releases on it, which means that any MSFS 2024-specific helicopters will probably be made available on their website until that happens.

And there you go. Lots of good information from FlyInside which will certainly please both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024 users. We will keep you updated as FlyInside feeds us some more information, so stay tuned.
