It's not odd for organizations to start planning events in advance. Something like FlightSimExpo takes a lot of time and work and the team needs to start getting busy very soon. This year's edition will take place on June 27-29, in Providence Rhode Island. But where will the 2026 edition take place?
You can help decide!
Here is the full press release:
PROVIDENCE – February 15, 2025 – FlightSimExpo 2025 takes place June 27-29 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, just outside of Boston. With this year’s event coming up in just a few months, organizers are working on booking the dates and location for next year’s show.

“As North America’s community-driven flight sim convention, attendee and partner feedback is a key input to where and when we host the show,” says FSA’s Evan Reiter, a volunteer air traffic controller on VATSIM and an organizer of the show. “Three of the options on our survey were suggested to me in Discord DMs or comments from attendees at FSExpo—keep them coming!”

FSA Returns to SUN ‘n FUN in 2025
FSA is pleased to be presenting the second-annual Flight Simulation Experience Center on April 1-6, 2025 in Lakeland, Florida. Alongside partners like Desktop Pilot, Fly with AI, Pimax, and Yaw VR, the organization will be putting flight sim in front of 200,000+ expected pilots and attendees.
“Attending in-person airshows like SUN ‘n FUN is directly connected to FSA’s mission of expanding awareness about home flight simulation’s role as a training and proficiency aid,” says FSA co-founder Phil Coyle, an instrument-rated private pilot. “We look forward to showcasing the technology we know and love to help more students and pilots discover what flight sim can do.”
FSA welcomes members who are attending SUN ‘n FUN to stop by the Buehler Hangar—across from the Boeing 727 at the main entrance to the show—any time during the event.
