New Partners

Alongside Microsoft, FSA has confirmed more than ten new exhibitors and sponsors will be participating at FlightSimExpo. These include RealSimGear, Aviation Training Foundation, FlightChops, FLYING Magazine, Fsdreamteam, Redbird Flight Simulations, MobiFlight, Sim Innovations, Flight Sim Wings, Resonaero, and AIRLAND WORLD.

First-time exhibitor Resonaero shared their thoughts on exhibiting at FlightSimExpo for the first time: “We’re excited to launch our public beta at Flight Sim Expo 2023 and reveal a brand-new passenger simulation for Microsoft Flight Simulator, with scenarios and persistent career,” said Mike Mortimer, Founder & Lead Developer. At the show, meet our developers and discover a new purpose to your flying, as virtual passengers rate your ability to fly safely, smoothly, and on time.”

Hotel Rooms & Logistics

A new room block has been opened at the DoubleTree Houston Hobby hotel (where all Friday seminars and the social event happen). The new rate of $129+tax is available at flightsimexpo.com/travel, alongside airfare discounts with Delta, Southwest, and United. Attendees can also book at the nearby Marriott Houston South for $89+tax.

The conference also announced a new transportation option between the two host hotels and Lone Star Flight Museum on Saturday and Sunday. Courtesy of Blackbird Simulations, Thrustmaster, and X-Plane, shuttle buses will run approximately every 30 minutes throughout both weekend event days.

“We’re so grateful to Blackbird, Thrustmaster, and X-Plane for stepping up to help provide another transportation option for attendees,” said event co-founder Evan Reiter. “While we know that there won’t be capacity for everyone, the free shuttles will make it that much easier for everyone to participate in the event. Alongside shuttles, attendees can take advantage of free parking at all event venues, discounts on rental cars, and carpool and rideshare options.”

FlightSimExpo takes place on June 23-25, 2023 in Houston. Full details on event logistics and discounts with airlines, rental car providers, and hotels are available at flightsimexpo.com/travel. FSA members are also invited to join us in Discord to share their feedback about this year’s event.
