It goes without saying that social media is very important for any project out there and it’s especially so for online communities.
Not only you can find us on Twitter, Instagram and visit our Facebook page, but you can also join us and interact with the team and our readers on our Facebook group.
This group, more than the Facebook page, is a place for all helicopter simmers and lovers to gather and discuss, learn and share their passion for their hobby. Its creation was something that I struggled with for some time, but I decided to go forth as I thought the existing groups were not exactly what I, personally, was looking for in such a community.
When the group was launched, I wasn’t expecting a huge number of members (1,000, maybe?). Reading 5,000 today is an amazing and unexpected milestone.
