Mischa Gelb (Pilot Yellow), Ruben Dias and Diogo Dias left Canada on May 1st and will end at the same location on July 13th. During the tour, they will fly through over 40 countries.
On June 6th they will land at Cascais (LPCS -- which is my "home base" in the sim world) and, the day after, there will be a media/press conference.
Although not related to simulation, it's, or course, an interesting aviation event, with a great background. As such it piqued my interest. I have grabbed the good old Alabeo R66 and started working on a repaint, which I sent the team. A couple of days and a few messages later we were discussing details on how to bring the sim to the event.
So, it is with great pleasure (and a huge dose of excitement) that we inform you of this: we are going to be present at the EPIC World Tour, media event in Lisbon, Portugal on June 7th, 2018 with a sim, showing (and allowing people to try) the Alabeo R66 for X-Plane and the Pro Flight Trainer Puma.
This will be a great opportunity to meet Mischa (which we've been following for some time thanks to our friend Karl (HappyCamper) as well as the "serial entrepreneur", Ruben Dias and Diogo.
It will also be a tremendous opportunity to show the media and a few passionate aviation lovers the potential of sims and the level of detail we can have nowadays on the helicopter flight simulation scene.
Are we going to have fun while doing this? Oh, yes, we are.
