Echo 19 reached out to let us know they’re working on a new product in their ‘Precision Audio Pack’ line.

The company is now branching into GA/business aviation with the Bell 407. According to Echo 19, “the Bell 407 ‘Precision Audio Pack’ provides an array of authentic sounds that interact with one another to create a layered audio environment, boosting realism significantly”.

By the looks – or, should I say, the sound – of the video below, it seems like Echo 19 did it again and it sounds pretty nice.

Realistic Startup and Operation Sounds

One of the first experiences a pilot has is the aircraft's startup procedure. The sound of fuel boost pumps activating, the roars of engines coming to life, and the assorted clicks and beeps of cockpit instruments are pivotal to replicating a genuine flight experience. This audio pack carefully encapsulates all those sounds, bringing the pre-flight checklist to life. It sets the stage for an authentic and thrilling flight ahead.

Authentic System Sounds

Operating systems like the blower fans, air conditioning, and defrosters should also immerse you in the cockpit experience. When to expect it

Echo 19 says they are “finishing up the last remaining tweaks” and that the “Microsoft Marketplace testing is already nearing completion”. As such, the company is expecting to release the Bell 407 Audio Pack within the next few weeks.

The Bell 407 Audio Pack will be available on the 2020 Marketplace, Echo 19’s store, Orbx, and iniBuilds. It will also be released on the MSFS 2024 Marketplace as soon as Microsoft processes it.
