In a post on Facebook, Baltic Dragon has announced that he is working with Casmo-TV on an “Iron Flag style training campaign for the AH-64D”. This will be the first major helicopter-focused campaign by Baltic Dragon
The first mission is now complete, and Baltic Dragon says it promises to be a lot of fun. Details are scarce at this time, but it seems like Casmo, a well-known Apache pilot and content creator, will serve as the instructor.
I reached out to Baltic Dragon, who indicated that there will probably be 13 to 15 missions as he wants to “cover all the major aspects of flying the Apache and fighting in it”.
He also said that he would build this campaign the same way he built the Iron Flag one, meaning that he would include “full missions with all the procedures, but also all the instructions”. To make things even more realistic, the guy at the front (voiced by Casmo) will tell you what to do, but as you go step by step, your character will talk to himself.
For this (really cool) detail, Baltic Dragon is counting on the voiceover work of Zilch, who did the Harrier training. It seems that many pilots talk to themselves as they go through procedures and Baltic Dragon wanted to add this to the campaign as well.
There’s no set date for the release yet, but chances are that it will come out during the first half of 2026. Do take that with a grain of salt, as there is a lot of work still ahead of the team.
