In Italy? Help a charity and check out some AW139 sims!

Oltre le Nuvole (Beyond the Clouds, in English) is an Italian charity that supports disabled children. The organization has been working with the Italian Air Force and, together, they have been organizing events, whose proceeds go to children's medical care.

Community member Marco Ferrarello, who has developed some new systems for the P3D AW139 and has currently been developing the 139 for MSFS, has been part of these events.

During the last year, he has been dedicated to building two AW139 stations: a simpler one for children and another one for adults.

Visitors will be able to experience the simulator through takeoffs, landings, SAR missions with a hoist or cargo hook, shipboard landings, and more.

The next event will be taking place on May 17th at the Cervia Air Force Base. The Italian Air Force has made a real AW139 shelter for the organization to use, so you’ll get to check out the environment, try the AW139 sim, check out some real AW139s, and get to know Marco and his incredible work with the virtual machine.

This is a free event, although you will have to provide personal and vehicle data to access the military facilities.
