The Great Barrier Reef is one of the most amazing natural treasures of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
AUscenes decided to bring it to Microsoft Flight Simulator, and they seem to have focused on Reefworld, in Hardy Reef, which you will find 39nm (around 72Km) offshore.
From there you can also venture to Heart Island and check out the small island.
The scenery seemed to have been built for helicopters since you will find a few landable platforms. In fact, AUscenes says that “Heart Reef […] is only accessible by Helicopter”!
Oh, and they leave us a warning. When visiting the island, “be sure to keep an eye out for the seagulls on final”.
