It took Pavlo 2 years and 37 days, between April 8th, 2023 and May 14th, 2025, to fly the 1,000 hours needed to travel around the virtual world and he used VR for the majority of the flights: 644h 47m 31s versus 409h 41m 36s without VR.
During his journey, Pavlo visited 83 countries, where he performed more than 2.500 take-offs and landings. He used some custom scenery and even built a few helipads to land at. He suggests Derawar Fort, for example and he is also making available his own custom work in case you want to try going through the same adventure he did. You can grab his helipads here.
Pavlo documented his journey and released a nearly 1-hour long video, where you can check out most of the countries he visited. The video is split into chapters, each one covering a country.
It’s pretty cool and I recommend you to at least check out the part that covers your country. I did a bit more than that and skimmed through the video, checking out all the cool stuff Pavlo wants to show us.
Take a look at the video and who knows? Perhaps you’ll be the next one to try such an amazing virtual adventure.
